I enjoy making art and taking classes because it allows me to express my creativity and explore new techniques. I feel a sense offreedim and am able to communicate my ideas and emotions visually. I enjoy experimenting with different mediums and styes, which helps me continually evolve as an artist. My favorite work I made this year was the interior space project because it allowed me to combine dance and art, which I both love to do.

Some artists that inspired me were Leah Gardener and Tara Donovan for

their unique art styles and artworks. These artists’ art styles influenced some

of my pieces. For example, my Found Object Sculpture and drawing of the

sculpture was influenced by Tara Donovan’s unique use of outside materials

to create art.

balance multiple projects, which I overcame by setting a schedule and

working faster.

I have grown as an artist by learning different media in physical drawing

and painting and digital art. I have also become more comfortable with

presenting and receiving criticism of my art during critiques. Moving forward,

I will continue to utalize the technical and creative insights I gained from these classes.
